How it Works
This treatment works by temporarily altering the facial muscles beneath the skin that form dynamic wrinkles on the surface. Once injected into precise areas of facial muscles, impulses from the nerves to the facial muscles are blocked. As a result, the underlying facial muscles relax and the skin gradually smoothes out. Most patients notice improvement within 3 to 5 days and reach the maximum improvement within a few weeks.
The effects of treatment will last approximately 3 to 6 months, after which many patients choose to return to Dr. Sorokin for a touch-up procedure.
Simple Treatments
Our BOTOX treatments are so popular because they are safe, quick, and effective. Dr. Sorokin will place an anesthetic cream on your skin prior to treatment. He then injects small amount of BOTOX into the area of the targeted wrinkles, and immediately applies ice when the entire process is complete.
You should avoid engaging in heavy physical exercise, applying cosmetics, or laying down flat for at least 4 hours after the injections. You should also to avoid rubbing or massaging the injected area for at least 24 hours.
