Benefits of BOTOX and XEOMIN Treatments
BOTOX and XEOMIN have proved to be particularly effective at treating these common signs of aging:

Although BOTOX and XEOMIN are highly effective for smoothing out wrinkles, advanced signs of aging – such as sagging skin, facial creases and jowls – typically require a more permanent surgical solution. In such cases, Dr. Sorokin may recommend a facelift with or without BOTOX or XEOMIN to enhance the results.
How They Work
Both BOTOX and XEOMIN work by temporarily altering the facial muscles beneath the skin that cause dynamic wrinkles on the surface. Following injections into precise areas of facial muscles, impulses from the nerves to the muscle are blocked. As a result, the underlying facial muscles relax and the skin gradually smoothes out. Most patients notice improvement within 3 to 5 days and see maximum improvement in a few weeks.
Simple Treatments
Our BOTOX and XEOMIN treatments are so popular because they are safe, quick and effective. Dr. Sorokin will evaluate your skin and areas of concern to customize your treatment so that it achieves your goal. For some patients, XEOMIN may be the best choice because it does not contain any additives. This means that the likelihood of becoming resistant to it after multiple treatments is reduced. However, BOTOX has its own set of advantages, and Dr. Sorokin will explain which product is right for you.
To keep you comfortable during the short procedure, Dr. Sorokin places an anesthetic cream on your skin. He then injects a small amount of BOTOX or XEOMIN into the targeted area, and immediately applies ice when the process is complete.
You should avoid engaging in strenuous exercise, applying cosmetics or lying down flat for at least 4 hours after an injection. You should also avoid rubbing or massaging the injected area for at least 24 hours.
The rejuvenating benefits of your treatment will last approximately 3 to 6 months, after which time many patients choose to return to Dr. Sorokin for a touch-up.
