Your First Visit
Before visiting Dr. Evan Sorokin in Cherry Hill for plastic surgery, our south New Jersey and Philadelphia patients often appreciate knowing what to expect. When you first call our office we will answer your questions and schedule your new patient consultation. Before your visit, you can download patient forms and complete them at home. You can even take an office tour online. Most consultations last approximately one hour.
We realize that doctor visits can be stressful. Dr. Sorokin and his staff work hard to make sure your visit is stress -free, rewarding, and educational. Meeting with Dr. Sorokin
Your time is valuable. We do our best to get you out of the waiting room and into a comfortable office for your private consultation with Dr. Sorokin as quickly as possible. During this first part of your visit, he'll ask you to describe the changes you'd like to make, review your medical history, and discuss your concerns. To enhance your peace of mind when choosing our practice, he will outline the advantages and disadvantages, surgical techniques, and potential risks of your procedures of interest. In addition you will be able to review before-and-after photos of patients who have had similar procedures.
Your Physical Exam
For your physical exam, you'll be shown to one of our multiple examination rooms where you will change into a comfortable gown in private. When Dr. Sorokin returns he will be accompanied by Alisha, our patient liaison. She strives to ensure that all of our patients have a satisfying experience from the consult through recovery. In fact, she also assists Dr. Sorokin during every surgical procedure as his OR scrub nurse. During your exam, measurements and photographs are taken to record your preoperative state and help Dr. Sorokin individualize your surgical procedure.
Your Next Steps
After you change back into your clothes, an office member will review fees and financing and scheduling options. We will never pressure you into scheduling surgery on the day of your consultation. Our goal is to help you learn more about your options and get a professional recommendation you can trust. You are welcome to schedule a second consultation if you have questions or concerns you'd like to discuss with Dr. Sorokin.
